Where can you find us?

You can find the Cup and Saucer between Ränsater and Munkfors on the road 62. Do not take the exit Ränsater (exit Hembygdsgård), but stay on the 62. Than it is about 3 km.

You can recognize us by the sign in shape of a cup and saucer and at the beginning from the drive way you see a couple of milk churns.

Route

From the Netherlands there are several ways to get to Sweden(www.map24.nl) .
For instance you can drive all the way over the mainland, through Germany and Denmark, on which you drive over two bridges before you enter Malmö (Sweden). It is a long way round and you have to pay toll for the bridge.

The shortest route is to drive by Puttgarden(G)/Rødby (DK), followed byHelsingør(DK)/ Helsingborg (S). Respectively 45 and 20 minutes of sailing. An incidental advantage is that you can take a break on board. At the website of scandlines you can find the times of departure. 

Other options are:
Travemünde (G) / Trelleborg (S),which takes 7 hours, or you can take the night boat Kiel (G) -- Göteborg (S), which takes 14 hours. The advantage of the last option is: from Göteborg it is only a 4-hour drive.


From Göteborg

We will give a description (from Göteborg) of the route Puttgarden / Rødby and Helsingør / Helsingborg.

You drive to Göteborg over the E6. Once you arrive in Göteborg you follow the E6 to Oslo for a while, than you go to Uddevalla over the 44 which changes into the 45 in the direction of Vänersborg to Karlstad. Right before Karlstad the road becomes E18 in the direction of Stockholm for a while. You stay on the E18 until the exit with the number 61/62. At the roundabout you take road number 62 in the direction of Hagfors. From Karlstad it is about 55 km to our house. 

After Ränsater (exit Hembygdsgård) it is about 3 km. N.B: do not take the exit Ränsater but stay on the 62. The Cup and Saucer is situated between Ränsater and Munkfors. The address is: Tjärne 34, 684 93 Ransäter, Sweden. Tel.: 0046 (0)552 30112.
